Last Day of Kindergarten
Today is Luke's last day of Kindergarten. The most exciting thing is he's begun reading. Feel free to send him (and Henry) a card, and he'll read it! If you asked him if he loved school he'd tell you yes, and I never once heard him say he didn't want to go. Every day he was excited. We met lots of new people, and prayed for his class. He'll be in First Grade this August.

January 2016
This month Jared built some garage shelving for us, and a work bench. Luke had his ear tag from birth removed surgically at the hospital, and it went very well. Luke did great, and his ear is healing well. Jared's grandfather Warren also passed away, and we all went to see him before he passed. Jared, myself, and our boys plus Jared's sister's husband and kids, plus Jared's dad were there. Warren was his mother's father and last living grandparent.

Luke's 6th Birthday
Luke got a birthday hat and book from his kindergarten teacher. We had a party at our house. Star wars themed, with a Darth Vader pinata hit with life sabers. He got a bunch of pirate presents because he likes pirates right now and he had it on his wishlist. I didn't connect the dots and make it a pirate party; I saw Star Wars party supplies and thought it'd be fun. He had a great birthday; he loves having people over.

Halloween 2015
Luke is 5 years old, Henry 3. We carved pumpkins; Henry's pumpkin was a pirate (carved by Ginger), Ginger's was decorative (Ginger with a power drill), Jared & Luke's were jack-o-lanterns (carved by each of them; Luke's 1st year carving all by himself). Luke had to make a homemade "Luke-sized" scarecrow for kindergarten, so he colored the hair red with a marker and we put his clothes on it. Luke got to go to a pumpkin patch at a farm for a school field trip (no pics here), but we also went to a pumpkin patch with our family. Jared's work had a western theme for Halloween this year, so we had all the boys dress up as cowboys (we like group costumes). We went trick-or-treating in our friend's neighborhood and had fun! Here's the pics...

Henry Turning Three
We're getting ready to celebrate Henry's 3rd birthday on 10.7.15. These are all recent pics of him being 2 yrs old, and then I threw in first and second year birthday pics, plus the hospital announcement pic from when he was born. The most recent things about Henry are that he loves to be read books (including his Bible), sing the Down In My Heart song, punch the air, body slam you, jump on trampoline, dig in the dirt, chew his food without actually swallowing, is almost potty trained (yay!), watch Justin Time on netflix, and unscrew door hinges. He's been a big blessing to our whole family and we all love him very much.
