Spring 2015 - May

In May we went to cousin Micah's 3rd birthday party, which the boys were super excited about; Henry switched over from a crib to a twin bed; I made a picture wall for the boy's room; Maggie's headstone finally arrived in the cemetery; we picked fruit at a farm; we went to the fair and the destruction derby; went on a hike to Table Mountain. Spring 2015 - April

In April, we celebrated Easter with a picnic, an egg hunt, and Bible message at our friend's farm. (Just a reminder, if you view this post in a browser and click on any image it will enlarge it.)

We also got a gym membership that has a pool and splash park for the kids. (And so we can exercise and hopefully shed some pounds!)

Happy #5 Birthday to Luke!

December 5th was Luke's 5th birthday. Luke started the day with a birthday candle in a bagel and we sang him happy birthday. Then we went to a kid's indoor play gymnasium in town where he and Henry jumped on trampolines, jumped in a tub of balls, played in a fort, jumped onto cushy mats, basically bouncing off the walls and throwing themselves around like they do at home but in a place made for it. Then we got some birthday balloons and lunch and came home for a nap. Then we had a couple of his friends over for a small birthday party. The picture is of Luke blowing out his birthday brownies (he said he didn't want cake) and he's shirtless in winter because apparently he likes to take it off when he gets hot.
