The family has been enjoying this Bible verse: Romans 14:8-9 If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. To this end, Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Here is the video Jared made that is a slideshow of pictures of Gloria's life with her husband Brian, daughter Leslie, son Jared, and grandkids Luke, Micah, Henry, and her first granddaughter in Leslie's belly. Singing twinkle twinkle little star

I hear Luke singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star everyday, and I thought hey why not video tape it. Click here to watch the video. There's no end to this song, I just stopped recording. He could sing it forever.

Pool Day

We took the boys swimming at the pool today, and it was so much fun. Henry was in a donut floatie that has a seat with leg cutouts, and he was so cute. He would splash his hands in the water, then squeal in delight when he splashed his own face. Big smile the whole time.

Luke had a mini life vest on and we tried teaching him how to swim a little, but he was scared of floating, even when we held him. Baby steps I guess. He kept asking if there were alligators in the water.

The pool is in the middle of Bidwell park, and is filled by Big Chico Creek, so it's a creek pool. On one end the pool is level with the creek, and at the other end is a dam with a fish ladder. It's hard to describe I guess. Anyway it's free and has nice scenery. Even though a lot of people go to it, it's so big you don't really notice.

It's all cemented and has a shallow end and a deep end like regular pools. The creek is on the right and the pool is on the left in the pic below:

The green bike

Luke got his first big boy bike at 3.5 years old. I walk along side him while he peddles down the street.

8 Months

Today Henry turns 8 months old. He's cute, quiet, and happy. We love the little guy. Here is a video of him:

Luke is funny too; today he's been singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but with 2 different versions that make me laugh.
Version 1:
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, how YOU wonder what YOU are.
Version 2:
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, how YOU wonder what I are.
